FEE AREA: Adults $10, Children 2-12 $6, & Seniors (62+) $8. Group discounts for 25 or more (by prior reservation) at senior rate.

 

TRAIL: Rated l+ Suitable for strollers and wheelchairs.  No pets except for service dogs.  One of world's largest and most beautiful zoos.  300 acres replication of African wilderness & 200 acres representation of N. American landscape.  First American zoo conceived and built around natural habitat philosophy.

 

HOW TO GET THERE: Asheboro is located about 30 miles south of I-40/85 in Greensboro at the intersection of US Hwys 220 and 64.  From either route follow signs to the zoo located on Zoo Parkway  (From Hwy 220 exit onto Hwy 64 then to Zoo Parkway.)
