HOW TO GET THERE: From Business I-40 take the Cherry Street exit (EXIT 5C). IF WESTBOUND, turn right on Cherry to 2nd Street and right on 2nd Street to Liberty Street. Follow Liberty as it changes to Old Salem Rd. to traffic circle and go halfway around. Turn on first right after Waughtown St. and follow around building to entrance. IF EASTBOUND turn right on Marshall Street to W Salem Ave. Turn left W Salem Ave to traffic circle and go halfway around. Turn on first right after Waughtown St. and follow around building to entrance.

HOURS: April 1 through November 30, Tue - Fri 10 am - 4:30 pm, Sat -Sun 1:30-4:30 pm.
CLOSED: December 1 through March 31; also Monday and major holidays and may be closed day prior to holidays.
TRAILS: Accessible all daylight hours. See many sites within the first Moravian Settlement of the area. Not suitable for strollers or wheelchairs. Please carry water, and insect repellant is advisable. Historic Bethabara Park is rated 2+. Trail is on paved and unpaved greenway, on natural woodland paths. The route traverses both upland with some hills and lowland along a creek and on a “marsh boardwalk” along a wetland area. See interesting flora and fauna along the trail. May not be passable for a day or two after heavy rains.

An Alternate Trail is available. This trail, rated 1+, goes from Bethabara Park to the SciWorks Museum and back. In part, it follows the Historic Wagon Road used by the first Moravian settlers to the area.
