TRAIL: Rated 2, strollers OK with a few steps. Not for wheelchairs. Tours historic downtown and quiet residential areas with views across Yadkin River Valley, through city park and recreation area. Follows short section of Overmountain Victory Trail. Qualifies for OVT patch.

HOW TO GET THERE: I-77 to Exit 82; Elkin/NC67 Turn west toward downtown Elkin/Jonesville: Follow 2 miles, turn left on Elm St. 1 block and right on Main Street (becomes Bridge St) across Yadkin River crossing. Turn right on Market St/NC-268. Visitor Center is 1 block on right. Park in lot on left side of Market St.. Alternate Start Point; I-77, exit 82, turn west toward downtown. Inn is immediately to the right.
