A stroll through the city that Andy Griffith used as the model for Mayberry in his TV series.  The route passes the original Snappy Lunch (home of the grilled pork chop sandwich) and Floyd's Barber Shop.  Andy's boyhood home is on the route, as is the Andy Griffith Playhouse with the Sheriff Andy and Opie Statue.  The first portion of the walk is on a greenway along side a creek.

There are two trails here.  The principal trail is a walk through the original Moravian settlement in central North Carolina.  It also goes through woods, along a greenway, and on a boardwalk around a large beaver pond.  An alternate trail is on natural surfaces and some roads from Bethabara Park to the SciWorks Museum and back again.  Part of the trail is on the Historic Wagon Trail dating back to pre-Revolutionary War times.  Only one stamp is available.

A walk through the downtown and historic residential areas of Winston-Salem.  The second half of the walk is in Old Salem, a restoration of a pre-Revolutionary War Moravian community.  Many original buildings have been restored and replicas of others constructed.

A walk around a lake on dirt and gravel trails.  This is a mostly wooded trail with many views of the lake.
