Over Memorial Day Weedend, the club sponsored five walks in the Northeastern section of North Carolina.  On Saturday morning, we walked through historic Edenton and in the afternoon, Merchants Millpond State Park.  A walk in Hertford was held twice, on Sunday morning for most walkers and on Friday afternoon for those not wishing to walk on Sunday morning.  On Sunday afternoon, we met at Pettigrew State Park for a walk in the forest and on the grounds of Somerset Plantation Historic Site.  The year round event at Eizabeth City was the route for the Monday morning walk.  We had over 60 people attend and they did a total of over 240 walks.  The club logo has been inserted to keep place for additional photos which are not yet available
